Since its launch on CKLN in February of 1986, The Long Note has been presenting songs and music in the Celtic tradition with a decided emphasis on Irish folk and trad. Shows are drawn from extensive libraries of both vintage and contemporary recordings. Pat Murphy presents his Special Long Note on the last Sunday of each month.
